A Japanese H-IIA rocket with the NASA-Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) Core Observatory onboard, is seen launching from th Tanegashima Space Center, Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, Tanegashima Space Center. The GPM spacecraft will collect information that unifies data from an international network of existing and future satellites to map global rainfall and snowfall every three hours.	Orbital Sciences' Cygnus cargo craft was detached and released from the International Space Station Feb. 18, more than a month after delivering a ton of supplies and experiments to the Expedition 38 crew. Cygnus will be commanded by Orbital Sciences' flight controllers to fire its engines Feb. 19, which will send it into a destructive reentry into the Earth's atmosphere.	This message from NASA administrator Charles Bolden was sent to the moon and back with only a few seconds of delay. The Lunar Laser Communications Demonstration mission aboard NASA's LADEE spacecraft successfully received and retransmitted the video.
